INTENDED USE This Anti-TPOR ELISA kit is a 1.5 hour solid-phase ELISA designed for the quantitative determination of Mouse Anti-TPOR. This ELISA kit for research use only, not for therapeutic or diagnostic applications!
PRINCIPLE OF THE ASSAY Anti-TPOR ELISA kit applies the competitive enzyme immunoassay technique utilizing Thrombopoietin Receptor antigen and an Anti-TPOR-HRP conjugate. The assay sample and buffer are incubated together with Anti-TPOR-HRP conjugate in pre-coated plate for one hour. After the incubation period, the wells are decanted and washed five times. The wells are then incubated with a substrate for HRP enzyme. The product of the enzyme-substrate reaction forms a blue colored complex. Finally, a stop solution is added to stop the reaction, which will then turn the solution yellow. The intensity of color is measured spectrophotometrically at 450nm in a microplate reader. The intensity of the color is inversely proportional to the Anti-TPOR concentration since Anti-TPOR from samples and Anti-TPOR-HRP conjugate compete for the Thrombopoietin Receptor antigen binding site. Since the number of sites is limited, as more sites are occupied by Anti-TPOR from the sample, fewer sites are left to bind Anti-TPOR-HRP conjugate. A standard curve is plotted relating the intensity of the color (O.D.) to the concentration of standards. The Anti-TPOR concentration in each sample is interpolated from this standard curve.
Samples: Serum, plasma, Cell Culture Supernatants, body fluid and tissue homogenate
Assay Type: Competitive
Detection Range: 0.5-10ng/mL
Sensitivity: 0.1ng/mL. Mouse Thrombopoietin Receptor antibody ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. Bone Marrow Diseases, Cardiovascular Diseases, Chromosome Aberrations, Leukemia, Leukemia, Myeloid, Leukemia, Myeloid, Acute, Myelodysplastic Syndromes, Necrosis, Thrombocythemia, Essential, Thrombocytosis are some of the diseases may be linked to Mouse Thrombopoietin Receptor antibody ELISA Kit.
