Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Intended Uses: This ELISA kit can be applied to the in vitro quantitative determination of Human NRP2 concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids.
Principle of the Assay: This ELISA kit uses Sandwich-ELISA as the method. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been precoated with an antibody specific to Human NRP2. Standards or samples are added to appropriate micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibodies specific for Human NRP2 and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added to each micro plate well successively and incubated. After incubation, free components are washed away. Then the Substrate Reagent is added to each well, only those wells that contain Human NRP2, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin- HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction will be terminated by adding Stop Solution and appears yellow in color. The optical density (OD) can be measured with spectrophotometry at a wavelength of 450 nm +/- 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Human NRP2. The concentration of Human NRP2 in samples can be calculated by comparing the OD of the samples with the standard curve.
Samples: Serum, Plasma, Biological Fluids
Assay Type: Sandwich
Detection Range: 0.156-10ng/mL
Sensitivity: Min: 0.094ng/mL; Max: 10ng/mL. Human NRP2 (Neuropilin 2) ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. NRP2 also interacts with the following gene(s): FLT1, PLXNA1, PLXNA3, PLXNA4, SEMA3A, SEMA3C, SEMA3F, VEGFA. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Blood, Bone, Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Ganglia, Heart, Liver, Lung, Nerve, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein.
