Principle of the assay: The kit uses a double-antigen sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) to analyze the existence or not of Human KBSL in samples. Add sample to wells pre-coated with one Human Klebsiella antibody, at same time add HRP-conjugated Human Klebsiella antibody to bind the analyte, followed by incubation and washing procedures to remove unbound substance. Finally, HRP substrates are added, incubated for detection, and a blue color is developed. Reaction is stopped and color turns to yellow when Stopping Solution (acidic) is added. The existence or not of Human KBSL in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the CUT OFF.
Samples: Serum, plasma, tissue homogenate, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids
Assay Type: Sandwich. Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay CV (%) are less than 15%.
Inter-assay Precision: Inter-assay CV (?) are less than 15%.
Intended Uses: For the qualitative determination of activated Human Klebsiella (KBSL) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenate, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Human klebsiella ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit.
