Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Intended Uses: The human VEGF-C ELISA is an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative detection of human VEGF-C. The human VEGF-C ELISA is for research use only.
Sensitivity: 0.057 ng/ml (mean of 6 independent assays). Intra-assay Precision: Reproducibility within the assay was evaluated in 3 independent experiments. Each assay was carried out with 6 replicates of 6 serum samples containing different concentrations of human VEGF-C. 2 standard curves were run on each plate. Data below show the mean human VEGF-C concentration and the coefficient of variation for each sample (see Table 3). The calculated overall intra-assay coefficient of variation was 6.7%.
Inter-assay Precision: Assay to assay reproducibility within one laboratory was evaluated in 3 independent experiments. Each assay was carried out with 6 replicates of 6 serum samples containing different concentrations of human VEGF-C. 2 standard curves were run on each plate. Data below show the mean human VEGF-C concentration and the coefficient of variation calculated on 12 determinations of each sample (see Table 4). The calculated overall inter-assay coefficient of variation was 12.0%. Human VEGF-C ELISA (total) or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. VEGF-C ELISA also interacts with the following gene(s): EGFR, FLT1, FLT4, FN1, IGF1R, KDR, LYVE1, PDPN, SERPINE1. Breast Neoplasms, Hyperplasia, Inflammation, Lung Neoplasms, Melanoma, Neoplasm Metastasis, Neoplasms, Neoplasms, Experimental, Respiratory Tract Diseases, Skin Neoplasms are some of the diseases may be linked to Human VEGF-C ELISA (total). Bladder, Bone, Bone Marrow, Embryonic Tissue, Kidney, Lung, Placenta, Skin, Uterus, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein.
