Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve
Intended Uses: The kit is a competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique for the in vitro quantitative measurement of TH in mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.
Principle of the Assay: This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. An antibody specific to TH has been pre-coated onto a microplate. A competitive inhibition reaction is launched between biotin labeled TH and unlabeled TH (Standards or samples) with the pre-coated antibody specific to TH. After incubation the unbound conjugate is washed off. Next, avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. The amount of bound HRP conjugate is reverse proportional to the concentration of TH in the sample. After addition of the substrate solution, the intensity of color developed is reverse proportional to the concentration of TH in the sample.
Samples: Mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.
Assay Type: Competitive
Detection Range: 9.88-800pg/mL. The standard curve concentrations used for the ELISA\'s were 800pg/mL, 266.67pg/mL, 88.89pg/mL, 29.63pg/mL, 9.88pg/mL,
Sensitivity: 3.76pg/mL. Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, middle and high level TH were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively. Intra-Assay: CV<10%
Inter-assay Precision: Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, middle and high level TH were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate. CV(%) = SD/meanX100. Inter-Assay: CV<12%. Mouse Tyrosine Hydroxylase (TH) ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. Brain Diseases, Heart Diseases, Hypertension, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Myocardial Infarction, Necrosis, Nervous System Diseases, Neurobehavioral Manifestations, Pain are some of the diseases may be linked to Mouse Tyrosine Hydroxylase (TH) ELISA Kit. Adrenal Gland, Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Eye, Mouth, Nerve, Pancreas, Placenta, Uncharacterized Tissue tissues are correlated with this protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. TH also interacts with the following gene(s): DDC, FOS, FOSB, GAL, JUN, NR4A2, PITX3, TAT, TYR, YWHAZ.
