The Zebrafish TGFb1 tgfb1 (Catalog #MBS2000217) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MBS2000217 ELISA Kit recognizes Zebrafish (Fish, General) TGFb1.

The TGFb1 tgfb1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #33431110) (NCBI Accession #AAQ18642.1) (Uniprot Accession #P01137). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

The test principle applied in this kit is Sandwich enzyme immunoassay. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Transforming Growth Factor Beta 1 (TGFb1). Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Transforming Growth Factor Beta 1 (TGFb1). Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain Transforming Growth Factor Beta 1 (TGFb1), biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of Transforming Growth Factor Beta 1 (TGFb1) in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

TGFb1 tgfb1

Samples: Serum, plasma, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids
Assay Type: Sandwich
Detection Range: 15.625-1000 pg/mL The standard curve concentrations used for the ELISA\'s were 1000 pg/mL, 500 pg/mL, 250 pg/mL, 125 pg/mL, 62.5 pg/mL, 31.25 pg/mL, 15.625 pg/mL
Sensitivity: Typically less than 3.6 pg/mL. Precision: Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, middle and high level Transforming Growth Factor Beta 1 (TGFb1) were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, middle and high level Transforming Growth Factor Beta 1 (TGFb1) were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate.
CV(%) = SD/meanX100
Intra-Assay: CV<10%
Inter-Assay: CV<12%
. Zebrafish Transforming Growth Factor Beta 1 (TGFb1) ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. TGFb1 also interacts with the following gene(s): DCN, FN1, LTBP1, SMAD2, SMAD7, TGFBR1, TGFBR2, TGFBR3, TIMP1. Asthma, Diabetes Mellitus, Experimental, Diabetic Nephropathies, Fibrosis, Hypersensitivity, Hypertension, Liver Cirrhosis, Lung Diseases, Proteinuria, Pulmonary Fibrosis are some of the diseases may be linked to Zebrafish Transforming Growth Factor Beta 1 (TGFb1) ELISA Kit. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Blood, Bone, Bone Marrow, Brain, Connective Tissue, Heart, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Muscle tissues are correlated with this protein.
