The Human sTfR n/a (Catalog #MBS261126) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MBS261126 ELISA Kit recognizes Human (General) sTfR.

The sTfR n/a product has the following accession number(s) (GI #12643676) (NCBI Accession #P76072.2). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given elisa kit. We\'ve tested the Human soluble transferrin receptor (sTfR) ELISA Kit with the following immunoassay(s):
Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only) sTfR.

Principle of the assay: This experiment use double-sandwich elisa technique and the ELISA Kit provided is typical. The pre-coated antibody is human sTfR monoclonal antibody and the detecting antibody is polyclonal antibody with biotin labeled. Samples and biotin labeling antibody are added into ELISA plate wells and washed out with PBS or TBS. Then Avidin-peroxidase conjugates are added to ELISA wells in order; Use TMB substrate for coloring after reactant thoroughly washed out by PBS or TBS. TMB turns into blue in peroxidase catalytic and finally turns into yellow under the action of acid. The color depth and the testing factors in samples are positively correlated.

Samples: Human serum, plasma or Cell Culture Supernatant and organizations in the natural and recombinant sTfR concentration
Assay Type: Sandwich
Detection Range: 100 nmol/L-1.56 nmol/L
Sensitivity: 0.5 nmol/L. Intra-assay Precision: <= 8%
Inter-assay Precision: <= 12%. Human soluble transferrin receptor (sTfR) ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit.
