Intended Uses: For the quantitative detection of Rat 60S ribosomal protein L36 (RPL36) concentration in serum, plasma and other biological fluids.
Principle of the Assay: This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate RPL36 in Rat serum, plasma. An antibody specific for RPL36 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any RPL36 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for RPL36 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of RPL36 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Rat 60S ribosomal protein L36 (RPL36) ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. RPL36 also interacts with the following gene(s): RPL35, RPL35A, RPS13, RPS15, RPS16, RPS3, RPS5, RPS9. Adenocarcinoma, Carcinoma, Hepatocellular, Disorders of Sex Development, Hyperplasia, Liver Diseases, Liver Neoplasms, Urogenital Abnormalities are some of the diseases may be linked to Rat 60S ribosomal protein L36 (RPL36) ELISA Kit. Blood, Bone, Bone Marrow, Heart, Kidney, Liver, Salivary Gland tissues are correlated with this protein.
