Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Principle of the Assay: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to RGS9. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated polyclonal antibody preparation specific for RGS9 and Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. Then a TMB substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain RGS9, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm +/- 2 nm. The concentration of RGS9 in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
Assay Type: Sandwich
Detection Range: 0.312-20 ng/ml
Sensitivity: 0.16 ng/mL. Intra-Assay CV: <=6.4%
Inter-Assay CV: <=8.7%
Recovery: 94%. Mouse Regulator of G-protein signaling 9 ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. Brain, Eye, Kidney, Lung, Pancreas tissues are correlated with this protein. Anxiety Disorders, Atrophy, Disease Models, Animal, Dyskinesia, Drug-Induced, Memory Disorders, Mental Disorders, Movement Disorders, Poisoning, Prolonged Electroretinal Response Suppression, Schizophrenia are some of the diseases may be linked to Mouse Regulator of G-protein signaling 9 ELISA Kit. Rgs9 also interacts with the following gene(s): Gnai2, Gnat1, Gnb5, Pde6a, Pde6b, Pde6g, Rgs9bp. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
