Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Intended Uses: This PPIL1 ELISA kit is a 1.5 hour solid-phase ELISA designed for the quantitative determination of Monkey PPIL1. This ELISA kit for research use only!
Principle of the Assay: PPIL1 ELISA kit applies the competitive enzyme immunoassay technique utilizing a monoclonal anti-PPIL1 antibody and an PPIL1-HRP conjugate. The assay sample and buffer are incubated together with PPIL1-HRP conjugate in pre-coated plate for one hour. After the incubation period, the wells are decanted and washed five times. The wells are then incubated with a substrate for HRP enzyme. The product of the enzyme-substrate reaction forms a blue colored complex. Finally, a stop solution is added to stop the reaction, which will then turn the solution yellow. The intensity of color is measured spectrophotometrically at 450nm in a microplate reader. The intensity of the color is inversely proportional to the PPIL1 concentration since PPIL1 from samples and PPIL1-HRP conjugate compete for the anti-PPIL1 antibody binding site. Since the number of sites is limited, as more sites are occupied by PPIL1 from the sample, fewer sites are left to bind PPIL1-HRP conjugate. A standard curve is plotted relating the intensity of the color (O.D.) to the concentration of standards. The PPIL1 concentration in each sample is interpolated from this standard curve.
Samples: Serum, plasma, Cell Culture Supernatants, body fluid and tissue homogenate
Assay Type: Competitive
Sensitivity: 0.1 ng/mL. Monkey Peptidylprolyl isomerase (cyclophilin) -like 1 ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
