Typical Testing Data
Typical Standard Curve
Principle of the Assay: This ELISA kit uses Competitive-ELISA as the method. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to PNOC. During the reaction, PNOC in the sample or standard competes with a fixed amount of biotin-labeled PNOC for sites on a pre-coated Monoclonal antibody specific to PNOC. Excess conjugate and unbound sample or standard are washed from the plate, and HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) is added to each microplate well and incubated. Then a TMB substrate solution is added to each well. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm. The concentration of PNOC in the samples is then determined by comparing the OD. of the samples to the standard curve.
Samples: Serum, plasma and other biological fluids.
Assay Type: Competitive ELISA, Coated with Antigen
Detection Range: 0.156-10ng/ml
Sensitivity: 0.094ng/ml. Human Prepronociceptin ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit.
