Typical Testing Data
Typical Standard Curve
Principle of the Assay: This ELISA kit uses Competitive-ELISA as the method. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with Human PIINP. During the reaction,Human PIINP in the sample or standard competes with a fixed amount of Human PIINP on the solid phase supporter for sites on the Biotinylated Detection Antibody specific to Human PIINP. Excess conjugate and unbound sample or standard are washed from the plate, and HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) is added to each microplate well and incubated. Then a TMB substrate solution is added to each well. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm. The concentration of Human PIINP in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
Samples: Serum, plasma and other biological fluids.
Assay Type: Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody
Detection Range: 93.75-6000pg/ml
Sensitivity: 56.25pg/ml. Human N-terminal propeptide of Collagen alpha-1(II) chain ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit.
