The Mouse PI Ab-IgG n/a (Catalog #MBS720053) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MBS720053 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse (Murine, General) PI Ab-IgG.

To buy or view more detailed product information and pricing, please click on the technical datasheet page below:

(Or you can also download the PDF Manual for complete product instructions).

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given elisa kit. We\'ve tested the Mouse Phosphatidylinositol antibody IgG ELISA Kit with the following immunoassay(s):
Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only) PI Ab-IgG.

Principle of the assay: PI Ab-IgG ELISA kit applies the competitive enzyme immunoassay technique utilizing a monoclonal anti-PI Ab-IgG antibody and an PI Ab-IgG-HRP conjugate. The assay sample and buffer are incubated together with PI Ab-IgG-HRP conjugate in pre-coated plate for one hour. After the incubation period, the wells are decanted and washed five times. The wells are then incubated with a substrate for HRP enzyme. The product of the enzyme-substrate reaction forms a blue colored complex. Finally, a stop solution is added to stop the reaction, which will then turn the solution yellow. The intensity of color is measured spectrophotometrically at 450nm in a microplate reader. The intensity of the color is inversely proportional to the PI Ab-IgG concentration since PI Ab-IgG from samples and PI Ab-IgG-HRP conjugate compete for the anti-PI Ab-IgG antibody binding site. Since the number of sites is limited, as more sites are occupied by PI Ab-IgG from the sample, fewer sites are left to bind PI Ab-IgG-HRP conjugate. A standard curve is plotted relating the intensity of the color (O.D.) to the concentration of standards. The PI Ab-IgG concentration in each sample is interpolated from this standard curve.

Samples: Serum, plasma, Cell Culture Supernatants, body fluid and tissue homogenate
Assay Type: Competitive
Sensitivity: 1.0 ?g/mL. Intended Uses: This PI Ab-IgG ELISA kit is a 1.5 hour solid-phase ELISA designed for the quantitative determination of Mouse PI Ab-IgG. This ELISA kit for research use only, not for therapeutic or diagnostic applications!. Mouse Phosphatidylinositol antibody IgG ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit.
