The Rat Parp1 parp1 (Catalog #MBS2884603) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MBS2884603 ELISA Kit recognizes Rat (Rattus, General) Parp1.

The Parp1 parp1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #6978455) (NCBI Accession #NP_037195.1) (Uniprot Accession #P27008). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given elisa kit. We\'ve tested the Rat Poly [ADP-ribose] polymerase 1 ELISA Kit with the following immunoassay(s):
Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only) Parp1.

Intended Uses: This immunoassay kit allows for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat poly [adp-ribose] polymerase 1,PARP-1 concentrations in serum, Plasma, tissue homogenates and Cell culture supernates and Other biological fluids.

Principle of the Assay: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to PARP-1. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated polyclonal antibody preparation specific for PARP-1 and Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. Then a TMB substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain PARP-1, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm 2 nm. The concentration of PARP-1 in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

Samples: Serum, Plasma, tissue homogenates and Cell culture supernates and Other biological fluids
Detection Range: 78.0 pg/mL -5000 pg/mL. Rat Poly [ADP-ribose] polymerase 1 ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. Brain, Colon, Embryonic Tissue, Eye, Heart, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Muscle, Prostate tissues are correlated with this protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Brain Ischemia, Breast Neoplasms, Heart Diseases, Inflammation, Liver Diseases, Liver Neoplasms, Lung Neoplasms, Necrosis, Neoplasms, Experimental, Nervous System Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to Rat Poly [ADP-ribose] polymerase 1 ELISA Kit. Parp1 also interacts with the following gene(s): Casp3, Casp7, Crebbp, Parg, Pcna, Smad2, Tp53, Xrcc1, Xrcc5, Xrcc6.
