The Human MYH11 myh11 (Catalog #MBS2022430) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MBS2022430 ELISA Kit recognizes Human (General) MYH11.

The MYH11 myh11 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #170026940) (NCBI Accession #ACB05996.1) (Uniprot Accession #P35749). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given elisa kit. We\'ve tested the Myosin Heavy Chain 11, Smooth Muscle (MYH11) ELISA Kit with the following immunoassay(s):
Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only) MYH11.

Principle of the assay: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to MYH11. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to MYH11. Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain MYH11, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm +/- 10nm. The concentration of MYH11 in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

Samples: Human serum, plasma and other biological fluids
Detection Range: 0.78-50ng/mL
Sensitivity: The minimum detectable dose of human MYH11 is typically less than 0.27ng/mL. The sensitivity of this assay, or Lower Limit of Detection (LLD) was defined as the lowest protein concentration that could be differentiated from zero. It was determined by adding two standard deviations to the mean optical density value of twenty zero standard replicates and calculating the corresponding concentration. Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, middle and high level MYH11 were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively. Intra-Assay: CV<10%
Inter-assay Precision: Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, middle and high level MYH11 were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate. CV(%) = SD/meanX100. Inter-Assay: CV<12%
Intended Uses: The kit is a sandwich enzyme immunoassay for in vitro quantitative measurement of MYH11 in human serum, plasma and other biological fluids. Myosin Heavy Chain 11, Smooth Muscle (MYH11) ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Atherosclerosis, Disease Models, Animal, Heart Diseases, Hyperplasia, Infertility, Male, Inflammation, Leukemia, Myeloid, Acute, Leukemia, Myelomonocytic, Acute, Neoplasms, Experimental, Skin Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to Myosin Heavy Chain 11, Smooth Muscle (MYH11) ELISA Kit. Blood, Bone Marrow, Brain, Heart, Intestine, Lymph, Lymph Node, Muscle, Testis, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein. MYH11 also interacts with the following gene(s): ACTA2, ACTG2, MYLK, VCL.
