Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Intended Uses: This sandwich kit is for the accurate quantitative detection of human Mullerian Inhibiting Substance/Anti-Mullerian Hormone (also known as MIS/AMH) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernates, cell lysates, tissue homogenates.
Principles of the Assay: This kit is an Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). The plate has been pre-coated with human MIS/AMH antibody. MIS/AMH present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated human MIS/AMH Antibody is added and binds to MIS/AMH in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated MIS/AMH antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of human MIS/AMH. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.
Samples: Serum, plasma, cell culture supernates, cell lysates, tissue homogenates
Assay Type: Quantitative Sandwich
Detection Range: 0.05ng/ml - 15ng/ml
Sensitivity: 0.021ng/ml. Intra-Assay: CV<8%
Inter-Assay: CV<10%. Human Mullerian Inhibiting Substance/Anti-Mullerian hormone, MIS/AMH ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit.
