Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Principle of the Assay: This ELISA kit uses Competitive-ELISA as the method. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with LXA4. During the reaction, LXA4 in the sample or standard competes with a fixed amount of LXA4 on the solid phase supporter for sites on the Biotinylated Detection Antibody specific to LXA4. Excess conjugate and unbound sample or standard are washed from the plate, and HRP-Streptavidin(SABC) is added to each microplate well and incubated. Then a TMB substrate solution is added to each well. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm. The concentration of LXA4 in the samples is then determined by comparing the OD. of the samples to the standard curve.
Samples: Serum, plasma and other biological fluids.
Assay Type: Competitive ELISA, Coated with Antigen
Detection Range: 0.781-50ng/ml
Sensitivity: 0.469ng/ml. Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, middle and high level LXA4 were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively. Intra-Assay: CV<8%
Inter-assay Precision: Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, middle and high level LXA4 were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate. CV (%) = SD/meanX100. Inter-Assay: CV<10%. Lipoxin A4 ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. Blood, Bone Marrow, Connective Tissue, Heart, Kidney, Lung, Placenta, Spleen, Testis tissues are correlated with this protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. LXA4 also interacts with the following gene(s): ANXA1, APP, CAMP, CXCL12, IL8, PLAUR, SAA1. Autoimmune Diseases, Carcinoma, Cardiovascular Diseases, Fibrosis, Inflammation, Lung Diseases, Lung Injury, Necrosis, Respiratory Hypersensitivity, Vascular Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to Lipoxin A4 ELISA Kit.
