Principle of the Assay: This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with HL. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated antibody preparation specific for HL. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between with pre-coated HL and HL in samples. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of HL in the samples. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Samples: Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates.
Assay Type: Competitive
Detection Range: 15.6 pg/ml -1000 pg/ml.
Sensitivity: 3.9 pg/ml. Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%. Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision: Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%. Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess. Rat hepatic lipase, HL ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. LIPC also interacts with the following gene(s): APOB, DGAT1, LIPF, LIPG, LPL. Atherosclerosis, Brain Diseases, Cardiovascular Diseases, Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2, Dyslipidemias, Fatty Liver, Hyperlipidemias, Hypertriglyceridemia, Insulin Resistance, Liver Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to Rat hepatic lipase, HL ELISA Kit. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Bone, Brain, Connective Tissue, Ear, Embryonic Tissue, Heart, Kidney, Muscle, Umbilical Cord, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein.
