Principle of the assay: The kit uses a double-antigen sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) to analyze the existence or not of Goat JE-IgG in samples. Add sample to wells pre-coated with one Goat Japanese Encephalitis IgG antigen, at same time add HRP-conjugated Goat Japanese Encephalitis IgG antigen to bind the analyte, followed by incubation and washing procedures to remove unbound substance. Finally, HRP substrates are added, incubated for detection, and a blue color is developed. Reaction is stopped and color turns to yellow when Stopping Solution (acidic) is added. The existence or not of Goat JE-IgG in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the CUT OFF.
Samples: Serum, plasma, tissue homogenate, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids
Assay Type: Sandwich. Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay CV (%) are less than 15%.
Inter-assay Precision: Inter-assay CV (?) are less than 15%.
Intended Uses: For the qualitative determination of activated Goat Japanese Encephalitis IgG Antibody (JE-IgG) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenate, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Goat Japanese Encephalitis IgG (JE IgG) ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit.
