Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Principle of the Assay: This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with goat-anti-rabbit antibody. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with an antibody specific for INHBA and Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated INHBA. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between with HRP labeled INHBA and unlabeled INHBA with the antibody. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of INHBA in the sample. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Samples: Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates.
Assay Type: Competitive
Detection Range: 16.25 pg/ml -650 pg/ml.
Sensitivity: 16.25 pg/ml. Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<15%. Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision: Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<15%. Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess. Human inhibin, beta A, INHBA ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit.
