Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Principle of the Assay: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with sheep IgA. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) -conjugated antibody preparation specific for sheep IgA, mix well and incubated. The more the amount of sheep IgA in samples, the less HRP-conjugated antibody preparation specific for sheep IgA bound by pre-coated sheep IgA. Then a TMB (3,3\',5,5\' tetramethyl-benzidine) substrate solution is added to each well. And the color develops in opposite to the amount of sheep IgA in the sample. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Samples: Serum, plasma
Detection Range: 3.75ug/ml-60 ug/ml
Sensitivity: 1.87 ug/ml. Detection Wavelength: 450 nm
Sample Volume: 50-100ul. Sheep Immunoglobulin A, IgA ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Bone, Brain, Connective Tissue, Ear, Embryonic Tissue, Heart, Kidney, Muscle, Umbilical Cord, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein. IgA also interacts with the following gene(s): FLNA.
