Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Intended Uses: This ELISA kit applies to the invitro quantitative determination of PorcineIFN-betaconcentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids.
Principle of the Assay: This ELISA kit uses Sandwich-ELISA as the method. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to IFN-beta. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for IFN-betaand Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate is added to each micro plate well successively and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain IFN-beta, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm +/- 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of IFN-beta.You can calculate the concentration of IFN-betain the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
Samples: Serum, plasma and other biological fluids.
Assay Type: Sandwich (Quantitative)
Detection Range: 15.625-1000pg/mL
Sensitivity: 9.375pg/mL. Porcine IFN-beta (Interferon Beta) ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. IFN-beta also interacts with the following gene(s): CREBBP, EP300, IFNAR1, IFNAR2, IRF1, IRF3, IRF7, STAT2. Carcinoma, Heart Diseases, Immune System Diseases, Inflammation, Leukemia, Lung Neoplasms, Melanoma, Multiple Sclerosis, Necrosis, Pancreatic Neoplasms are some of the diseases may be linked to Porcine IFN-beta (Interferon Beta) ELISA Kit.
