Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
The test principle applied in this kit is Sandwich enzyme immunoassay. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Glutamate Receptor, Ionotropic, AMPA 1 (GRIA1). Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Glutamate Receptor, Ionotropic, AMPA 1 (GRIA1). Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain Glutamate Receptor, Ionotropic, AMPA 1 (GRIA1), biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of Glutamate Receptor, Ionotropic, AMPA 1 (GRIA1) in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
Assay Type: Double-antibody Sandwich
Samples: Tissue homogenates, Cell lysates and Other Biological Fluids
Detection Range: 15.62-1000pg/mL
Sensitivity: < 6.1pg/mL. Application: Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for Antigen Detection.
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, middle and high level Glutamate Receptor, Ionotropic, AMPA 1 (GRIA1) were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, middle and high level Glutamate Receptor, Ionotropic, AMPA 1 (GRIA1) were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate.
CV(%) =: SD/meanX100
Inter-Assay: CV<12%. Glutamate Receptor, Ionotropic, AMPA 1 (GRIA1) ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. GRIA1 also interacts with the following gene(s): CAMK2A, GRIA2, GRIA4, GRIK2. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Blood, Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Eye, Lung tissues are correlated with this protein. Anxiety Disorders, Brain Diseases, Disease Models, Animal, Heart Diseases, Memory Disorders, Mental Disorders, Nervous System Diseases, Neurobehavioral Manifestations, Pain, Sexual Dysfunctions, Psychological are some of the diseases may be linked to Glutamate Receptor, Ionotropic, AMPA 1 (GRIA1) ELISA Kit.
