Principle of the Assay: This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate GOLGA4 in samples. An antibody specific for GOLGA4 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyGOLGA4 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for GOLGA4 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of GOLGA4 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Samples: Serum, Plasma, Other biological fluids
Assay Type: Sandwich. Sample Volume: 1-200 uL
Precision: Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay)
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess intra-assay precision.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays)
Three samples of known concentration were tested in forty separate assays to assess inter-assay precision.
CV (%) = SD/meanX100
Intra-Assay: CV
Inter-Assay: CV
Detection Wavelength: 450 nm. Human Golgin subfamily A member 4 (GOLGA4) ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. Adipose Tissue, Blood, Bone, Bone Marrow, Brain, Eye, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Ovary tissues are correlated with this protein. Adenocarcinoma, Carcinoma, Hypertension, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Lung Diseases, Lung Neoplasms, Necrosis, Neoplasms, Experimental, Skin Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to Human Golgin subfamily A member 4 (GOLGA4) ELISA Kit. GOLGA4 also interacts with the following gene(s): ARL1, ARL3, MACF1, RAB6A.
