The Porcine GIP gip (Catalog #MBS269619) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MBS269619 ELISA Kit recognizes Porcine (Pig, Swine, General) GIP.

The GIP gip product has the following accession number(s) (GI #4758436) (NCBI Accession #NP_004114.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

(Or you can also download the PDF Manual for complete product instructions).

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given elisa kit. We\'ve tested the Porcine Glucose dependent insulin releasing polypeptide (GIP) Elisa Kit with the following immunoassay(s):
Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only) GIP.

Principle of the assay: This experiment use double-sandwich elisa technique and the ELISA Kit provided is typical. The pre-coated antibody is Porcine GIP monoclonal antibody and the detecting antibody is polyclonal antibody with biotin labeled. Samples and biotin labeling antibody are added into ELISA plate wells and washed out with PBS or TBS. Then Avidin-peroxidase conjugates are added to ELISA wells in order; Use TMB substrate for coloring after reactant thoroughly washed out by PBS or TBS. TMB turns into blue in peroxidase catalytic and finally turns into yellow under the action of acid. The color depth and the testing factors in samples are positively correlated.

Samples: Porcine serum, plasma or Cell Culture Supernatant and organizations in the natural and recombinant GIP concentration
Assay Type: Sandwich
Detection Range: 1000 pg/ml-15.6pg/ml
Sensitivity: 5 pg/ml. Intra-assay Precision: <= 8%
Inter-assay Precision: <= 12%. Porcine Glucose dependent insulin releasing polypeptide (GIP) Elisa Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. GIP also interacts with the following gene(s): BAX, DPP4, GATA4, GIPR, ISL1, RETN. Intestine, Stomach tissues are correlated with this protein. Carcinoma, Cardiovascular Diseases, Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2, Fatty Liver, Hyperplasia, Hypertension, Kidney Diseases, Neurologic Manifestations, Weight Gain, Weight Loss are some of the diseases may be linked to Porcine Glucose dependent insulin releasing polypeptide (GIP) Elisa Kit. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
