Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Principle of the Assay: GHRH ELISA kit applies the competitive enzyme immunoassay technique utilizing a monoclonal anti-GHRH antibody and an GHRH-HRP conjugate. The assay sample and buffer are incubated together with GHRH-HRP conjugate in pre-coated plate for one hour. After the incubation period, the wells are decanted and washed five times. The wells are then incubated with a substrate for HRP enzyme. The product of the enzyme-substrate reaction forms a blue colored complex. Finally, a stop solution is added to stop the reaction, which will then turn the solution yellow. The intensity of color is measured spectrophotometrically at 450nm in a microplate reader. The intensity of the color is inversely proportional to the GHRH concentration since GHRH from samples and GHRH-HRP conjugate compete for the anti-GHRH antibody binding site. Since the number of sites is limited, as more sites are occupied by GHRH from the sample, fewer sites are left to bind GHRH-HRP conjugate. A standard curve is plotted relating the intensity of the color (O.D.) to the concentration of standards. The GHRH concentration in each sample is interpolated from this standard curve.
Samples: Serum, plasma, Cell Culture Supernatants, body fluid and tissue homogenate
Detection Range: 50-1000pg/mL
Sensitivity: 1.0pg/mL. Intended Uses: This GHRH ELISA kit is a 1.5 hour solid-phase ELISA designed for the quantitative determination of Porcine GHRH. This ELISA kit for research use only, not for therapeutic applications!. Porcine Growth hormone releasing hormone ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Breast Neoplasms, Cardiovascular Diseases, Heart Diseases, Isolated Growth Hormone Deficiency, Type IB, Kidney Neoplasms, Liver Diseases, Necrosis, Prostatic Diseases, Weight Gain, Weight Loss are some of the diseases may be linked to Porcine Growth hormone releasing hormone ELISA Kit.
