The Human GDA gda (Catalog #MBS454861) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MBS454861 ELISA Kit recognizes Human GDA.The GDA gda product has the following accession number(s) (GI #335335014) (NCBI Accession #NP_001229434.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q9Y2T3). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Intended Uses: The kit is a sandwich enzyme immunoassay for in vitro quantitative measurement of GDA in human serum, plasma and other biological fluids.
Principle of the Assay: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to GDA. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody preparation specific to GDA. Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain GDA, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm +/- 10nm. The concentration of GDA in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
Samples: Serum, plasma and other biological fluids.
Assay Type: Sandwich
Detection Range: 0.312-20ng/mL
Sensitivity: 0.102ng/mL. Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, middle and high level GDA were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively. Intra-Assay: CV<10%
Inter-assay Precision: Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, middle and high level GDA were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate. Inter-Assay: CV<12% CV(%) = SD/meanX100. Human Guanine Deaminase (GDA) ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. Bone, Brain, Intestine, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Mouth, Muscle, Pancreas, Uterus tissues are correlated with this protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Carcinoma, Disease Models, Animal, Heart Diseases, Hemorrhage, Hypertension, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Liver Diseases, Necrosis, Renal Insufficiency are some of the diseases may be linked to Human Guanine Deaminase (GDA) ELISA Kit. GDA also interacts with the following gene(s): AOX1, BDNF, HPRT1, PNP, RHOA, XDH.
