The Human FG fgg (Catalog #MBS2531906) is a CLIA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MBS2531906 CLIA Kit recognizes Human (General) FG.

The FG fgg product has the following accession number(s) (GI #350) (NCBI Accession #CAA33562.1) (Uniprot Accession #P12799). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

(Or you can also download the PDF Manual for complete product instructions).

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given clia kit. We\'ve tested the Human FG (Fibrinogen) CLIA Kit with the following immunoassay(s):
Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only) FG.

Intended Uses: This CLIA kit applies to the in vitro quantitative determination of FG concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids.

Principle of the Assay: This kit uses Sandwich-CLIA as the method. The micro CLIA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to FG. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate micro CLIA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for FG and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate is added to each micro plate well successively and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain FG, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear fluorescence. The Relative light unit (RLU) value is measured spectrophotometrically by the Chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer. The RLU value is positively associated with the concentration of FG. You can calculate the concentration of FG in the samples by comparing the RLU value of the samples to the standard curve.

Assay Type: Sandwich
Detection Range: 3.125-200ng/mL
Sensitivity: Min: 1.875ng/mL; Max: 200ng/mL. Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Liver, Muscle, Reticulum, Testis tissues are correlated with this protein. FG also interacts with the following gene(s): F13A1, FGA, FGB, ITGA2B, ITGB2, ITGB3. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
