Principle of the assay: DMP1 ELISA kit applies the competitive enzyme immunoassay technique utilizing a monoclonal anti-DMP1 antibody and an DMP1-HRP conjugate. The assay sample and buffer are incubated together with DMP1-HRP conjugate in pre-coated plate for one hour. After the incubation period, the wells are decanted and washed five times. The wells are then incubated with a substrate for HRP enzyme. The product of the enzyme-substrate reaction forms a blue colored complex. Finally, a stop solution is added to stop the reaction, which will then turn the solution yellow. The intensity of color is measured spectrophotometrically at 450nm in a microplate reader. The intensity of the color is inversely proportional to the DMP1 concentration since DMP1 from samples and DMP1-HRP conjugate compete for the anti-DMP1 antibody binding site. Since the number of sites is limited, as more sites are occupied by DMP1 from the sample, fewer sites are left to bind DMP1-HRP conjugate. A standard curve is plotted relating the intensity of the color (O.D.) to the concentration of standards. The DMP1 concentration in each sample is interpolated from this standard curve.
Samples: Serum, plasma, Cell Culture Supernatants, body fluid and tissue homogenate
Assay Type: Competitive
Sensitivity: 0.1 ng/mL. Rat Dentin Matrix Protein 1 ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. Breast Neoplasms, Carcinoma, Cell Transformation, Neoplastic, Death, Hypophosphatemic Rickets, Autosomal Recessive, 1, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Lung Neoplasms, Necrosis, Neoplasms, Experimental are some of the diseases may be linked to Rat Dentin Matrix Protein 1 ELISA Kit. Bone, Connective Tissue, Ear, Embryonic Tissue tissues are correlated with this protein. DMP1 also interacts with the following gene(s): AMELX, CD44, DSPP, ENPP1, FGF23, IBSP, MEPE, PHEX. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
