Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Intended Uses: This immunoassay kit allows for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Corticoliberin concentrations in serum, Plasma, tissue homogenates and Cell culture supernates and Other biological fluids.
Principle of the Assay: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Corticoliberin. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated polyclonal antibody preparation specific for Corticoliberin and Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. Then a TMB substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Corticoliberin, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm +/- 2 nm. The concentration of Corticoliberin in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
Assay Type: Competitive
Detection Range: 7.8-500 pg/mL
Sensitivity: 3.92 pg/mL. Intra-Assay CV: <=6.5%
Inter-Assay CV: <=9.1%
Recovery: 102%. Rat Corticoliberin ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. Crh also interacts with the following gene(s): Avp, Crhr1, Crhr2, Ghrh, Mc2r, Mc3r, Mc4r, Mc5r, Nps, Pomc. Brain, Uncharacterized Tissue tissues are correlated with this protein. Anxiety Disorders, Brain Diseases, Cushing Syndrome, Depressive Disorder, Hypertension, Inflammation, Mental Disorders, Necrosis, Nervous System Diseases, Pain are some of the diseases may be linked to Rat Corticoliberin ELISA Kit. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
