The Sheep CP cp (Catalog #MBS705542) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MBS705542 ELISA Kit recognizes Sheep CP.The CP cp product has the following accession number(s) (GI #57619174) (NCBI Accession #NP_001009733.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q9XT27). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Principle of the assay: This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with CP. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated antibody preparation specific for CP. The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between with pre-coated CP and CP in samples. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of CP in the samples. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Samples: Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates
Assay Type: Competitive
Detection Range: 15.63 ng/ml -1000ng/ml.
Sensitivity: The minimum detectable dose of sheep CP is typically less than 3.9 ng/ml. The sensitivity of this assay, or Lower Limit of Detection (LLD) was defined as the lowest protein concentration that could be differentiated from zero. It was determined the mean O.D value of 20 replicates of the zero standard added by their three standard deviations. Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV%<8%. Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision: Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV%<10%. Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess. Sheep Ceruloplasmin, CP ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. CP also interacts with the following gene(s): ATP7A, GAST, LTF, MPO, PLG, PROC. Blood, Bone, Brain, Intestine, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Muscle, Nerve, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein. Brain Diseases, Diabetes Mellitus, Disease Models, Animal, Hypertension, Inflammation, Ischemia, Kidney Diseases, Lung Neoplasms, Necrosis, Pain are some of the diseases may be linked to Sheep Ceruloplasmin, CP ELISA Kit. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
