Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Intended Uses: This ELISA kit applies to the in vitro quantitative determination of cGMP concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids.
Principle of the Assay: This ELISA kit uses Competitive-ELISA as the method. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with cGMP. During the reaction, cGMP in the sample or standard competes with a fixed amount of cGMP on the solid phase supporter for sites on the Biotinylated Detection Ab specific to cGMP. Excess conjugate and unbound sample or standard are washed from the plate, and Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. Then a TMB substrate solution is added to each well. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm +/- 2 nm. The concentration of cGMP in the samples is then determined by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
Samples: Serum, Plasma, Biological Fluids
Assay Type: Competitive
Detection Range: 0.781-50pmol/mL
Sensitivity: Min: 0.469pmol/mL; Max: 50pmol/mL. cGMP(Cyclic GMP)ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit.
