Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Intended Uses: This CCL14 ELISA kit is a 1.5 hour solid-phase ELISA designed for the quantitative determination of Goat CCL14. This ELISA kit for research use only, not for therapeutic or test applications!
Principle of the Assay: CCL14 ELISA kit applies the competitive enzyme immunoassay technique utilizing an anti-CCL14 antibody and an CCL14-HRP conjugate. The assay sample and buffer are incubated together with CCL14-HRP conjugate in pre-coated plate for one hour. After the incubation period, the wells are decanted and washed five times. The wells are then incubated with a substrate for HRP enzyme. The product of the enzyme-substrate reaction forms a blue colored complex. Finally, a stop solution is added to stop the reaction, which will then turn the solution yellow. The intensity of color is measured spectrophotometrically at 450nm in a microplate reader. The intensity of the color is inversely proportional to the CCL14 concentration since CCL14 from samples and CCL14-HRP conjugate compete for the anti-CCL14 antibody binding site. Since the number of sites is limited, as more sites are occupied by CCL14 from the sample, fewer sites are left to bind CCL14-HRP conjugate. A standard curve is plotted relating the intensity of the color (O.D.) to the concentration of standards. The CCL14 concentration in each sample is interpolated from this standard curve.
Samples: Serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, body fluid and tissue homogenate
Assay Type: Quantitative Competitive
Sensitivity: 1.0 ng/mL. Goat Chemokine C-C-Motif Ligand 14 ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. Intestine, Kidney, Liver, Uterus tissues are correlated with this protein. CCL14 also interacts with the following gene(s): CCR1, CCR2, CCR3, CCR5, CCR6, CCR8, CX3CR1, CXCR1, CXCR2, CXCR4.
