The Mouse BPIL3 bpifb6 (Catalog #MBS939435) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MBS939435 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse (Murine, General) BPIL3.

The BPIL3 bpifb6 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #254675246) (NCBI Accession #NP_955007.2) (Uniprot Accession #Q8BU51). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

(Or you can also download the PDF Manual for complete product instructions).

Principle of the Assay: This assay employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Antibody specific for BPIL3 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any BPIL3 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for BPIL3 is added to the wells. After washing, avidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of BPIL3 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

BPIL3 bpifb6

Assay Type: Sandwich. Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): CV% is less than 8%
Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): CV% is less than 10%
Three samples of known concentration were tested in twenty assays to assess.
Detection Wavelength: 450 nm
Sample Volume: 50-100ul. Mouse Bactericidal/permeability-increasing protein-like 3, BPIL3 ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit.
