The Rat beta-CTx n/a (Catalog #MBS765604) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MBS765604 ELISA Kit recognizes Rat (Rattus, General) beta-CTx.

To buy or view more detailed product information and pricing, please click on the technical datasheet page below:

(Or you can also download the PDF Manual for complete product instructions).

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given elisa kit. We\'ve tested the Rat Beta Crosslaps ELISA Kit with the following immunoassay(s):
Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only) beta-CTx.

Principle of the Assay: This ELISA kit uses Competitive-ELISA as the method. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with beta-CTx. During the reaction, beta-CTx in the sample or standard competes with a fixed amount of beta-CTx on the solid phase supporter for sites on the Biotinylated Detection Antibody specific to beta-CTx. Excess conjugate and unbound sample or standard are washed from the plate, and HRP-Streptavidin(SABC) is added to each microplate well and incubated. Then a TMB substrate solution is added to each well. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm. The concentration of beta-CTx in the samples is then determined by comparing the OD. of the samples to the standard curve.

Samples: Serum, plasma and other biological fluids.
Assay Type: Competitive ELISA, Coated with Antigen
Detection Range: 125-8000pg/ml
Sensitivity: 75pg/ml. Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, middle and high level beta- CTx were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively. Intra-Assay: CV<8%
Inter-assay Precision: Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, middle and high level beta- CTx were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate. CV (%) = SD/meanX100. Inter-Assay: CV<10%. Rat Beta Crosslaps ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit.
