(Or you can also download the PDF Manual for complete product instructions). Principle of the Assay: This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitative CXCL13 in Mouse serum, plasma. An antibody specific for CXCL13 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any CXCL13 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin - conjugated antibody specific for CXCL13 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of CXCL13 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Mouse B-Lymphocyte Chemoattractant 1 (BLC-1/CXCL13) ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. |
