Intended Uses: For the quantitative detection of Mouse Anti-nuclear IgG antibody (ANA-IgG) concentration in serum, plasma and other biological fluids.
Principle of the Assay: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with anti-mouse IgG antibody. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antigen and Streptavidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. Then a substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain anti-mouse IgG antibody, biotin-conjugated antigen and enzyme-conjugated Streptavidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm +/- 2 nm. The concentration of ANA-IgG in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
Samples: Serum, plasma and other biological fluids
Detection Range: 3.12 pg/mL - 200 pg/mL
Sensitivity: 1.04 pg/mL. Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay) Three samples of known concentration were tested twenty times on one plate to assess intra-assay precision. Intra-Assay: CV<8%
Inter-assay Precision: Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays) Three samples of known concentration were tested in forty separate assays to assess inter-assay precision. CV (%) = SD/meanX100. Inter-Assay: CV<12%. Mouse anti-nuclear Antibody (IgG)ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit.
