Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Principle of the Assay: This kit was based on sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. Anti- ?-GST antibody was pre-coated onto 96-well plates. And the biotin conjugated anti-?-GST antibody was used as detection antibodies. The standards, test samples and biotin conjugated detection antibody were added to the wells subsequently, and wash with wash buffer. HRP-Streptavidin was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with wash buffer. TMB substrates were used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the ?-GST amount of sample captured in plate. Read the O.D. absorbance at 450nm in a microplate reader, and then the concentration of ?-GST can be calculated.
Samples: Serum, plasma and other biological fluids.
Assay Type: Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody
Detection Range: 1.563-100mIU/ml
Sensitivity: 0.938mIU/ml. Human alpha-GST (alpha-glutathione S-transferases) ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit.
