The Canine ALD abcd1 (Catalog #MBS009399) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MBS009399 ELISA Kit recognizes Canine (Dog, General) ALD.

The ALD abcd1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #67476960) (NCBI Accession #P33897.2) (Uniprot Accession #P33897). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Background/Introduction: This Quantitative Sandwich ELISA kit is only for in vitro research use only, not for drug, household, therapeutic or diagnostic applications! It is intended to be determinated ALD concentrations in Canine serum, plasma and other body fluids. Using Purified Canine ALD antibody to coat Microelisa Stripplate wells to make solid-phase antibody, then add ALD and ALD antibody which has been labeled with HRP to wells, then the reactants become antibody-antigen-antibody-enzyme complex, after washing completely, add TMB substrate solution, TMB substrate becomes blue color under HRP enzyme-catalyzed, reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm. The concentration of ALD in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

ALD abcd1

Samples: Serum, Plasma, Tissue Homogenate, Feces, Urine and Body Fluids
Assay Type: Sandwich
Detection Range: 31.2 pg/ml - 1000 pg/ml.
Sensitivity: The sensitivity of this kit is 5.0 pg/ml. Intended Uses: This Quantitative Sandwich ELISA kit is only for in vitro research use only, not for drug, household, therapeutic or diagnostic applications! It is intended to be determinated ALD concentrations in Canine serum, plasma and other body fluids. Intra-assay Precision: Intra-assay CV (%) is less than 15%.
Inter-assay Precision: Inter-assay CV (%) is less than 15%. [CV(%) = SD/mean 100]. Canine Aldosterone ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit.
