Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve (for reference only)
Principle of the Assay: As mentioned above, this kit utilizes the Double Antibody Sandwich ELISA technique. The pre-coated antibody is an anti-Human ADAMTS13 monoclonal antibody, while the detection antibody is a biotinylated polyclonal antibody. Samples and biotinylated antibodies are added into ELISA plate wells and washed out with PBS or TBS after their respective additions to the wells. Then Avidin-peroxidase conjugates are added to the wells in after. TMB substrate is used for coloration after the enzyme conjugate has already been thoroughly washed out of the wells by PBS or TBS. TMB reacts to form a blue product from the peroxidase activity, and finally turns to yellow after addition of the stop solution (Color Reagent C). The color intensity and quantity of target analyte in the sample are positively correlated.
Samples: Human serum, plasma or cell culture supernatant
Assay Type: Quantitative Sandwich
Detection Range: 50 ng/mL-0.78 ng/mL
Sensitivity: Up to 0.5 ng/mL. Intra-assay Precision: <= 8%
Inter-assay Precision: <= 12%. Human ADAM metallopeptidase with ombospondin type 1 motif, 13 (ADAMTS13) ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. ADAMTS13 also interacts with the following gene(s): CAMK1D, CDC123, CDKAL1, IGF2BP2, JAZF1, MTNR1B, SLC30A8, THADA, TSPAN8, WFS1. Adipose Tissue, Bone, Brain, Connective Tissue, Embryonic Tissue, Heart, Kidney, Muscle, Pancreas, Skin tissues are correlated with this protein. Cardiovascular Diseases, Congenital Abnormalities, Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2, Disease Models, Animal, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Lung Diseases, Neoplasm Metastasis, Nervous System Diseases, Prenatal Exposure Delayed Effects are some of the diseases may be linked to Human ADAM metallopeptidase with ombospondin type 1 motif, 13 (ADAMTS13) ELISA Kit.
