Typical Testing Data
Typical Standard Curve
Principle of the Assay: This kit was based on sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. Anti-Human ADAM17 antibody was pre-coated onto 96-well plates. And the biotin conjugated anti-Human ADAM17 antibody was used as detection antibodies. The standards, test samples and biotin conjugated detection antibody were added to the wells subsequently, and wash with wash buffer. HRP-Streptavidin was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with wash buffer. TMB substrates were used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the Human ADAM17 amount of sample captured in plate. Read the O.D. absorbance at 450nm in a microplate reader, and then the concentration of Human ADAM17 can be calculated.
Samples: Serum, plasma and other biological fluids.
Assay Type: Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody
Detection Range: 62.5-4000pg/ml
Sensitivity: 37.5pg/ml. Human Disintegrin and metalloproteinase domain-containing protein 17 ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. ADAM17 also interacts with the following gene(s): EGFR, ERBB2, ERBB4, NCSTN, NOTCH1, NOTCH3, PSEN2, TIMP3. Atherosclerosis, Carcinoma, Hepatocellular, Disease Models, Animal, Heart Diseases, Hypertension, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Liver Diseases, Necrosis, Neoplasm Invasiveness are some of the diseases may be linked to Human Disintegrin and metalloproteinase domain-containing protein 17 ELISA Kit. Bone Marrow, Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Eye, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Muscle, Ovary, Prostate tissues are correlated with this protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
