The Human ACR acr (Catalog #MBS7208877) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MBS7208877 ELISA Kit recognizes Human (General) ACR.

The ACR acr product has the following accession number(s) (GI #148613878) (NCBI Accession #NP_001088.2). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

(Or you can also download the PDF Manual for complete product instructions).

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given elisa kit. We\'ve tested the Human Acrosin (ACR) ELISA Kit with the following immunoassay(s):
Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve
Typical Testing Data/Standard Curve ACR.

Intended Uses: This ACR ELIACR kit is a 1.5 hour solid-phase ELIACR designed for the quantitative determination of Human ACR. This ELIACR kit for research use only, not for therapeutic or diagnostic applications!

Principle of the Assay: ACR ELIACR kit applies the competitive enzyme immunoassay technique utilizing a Polyclonal anti-ACR antibody and an ACR-HRP conjugate. The assay sample and buffer are incubated together with ACR-HRP conjugate in pre-coated plate for one hour. After the incubation period, the wells are decanted and washed five times. The wells are then incubated with a substrate for HRP enzyme. The product of the enzyme-substrate reaction forms a blue colored complex. Finally, a stop solution is added to stop the reaction, which will then turn the solution yellow. The intensity of color is measured spectrophotometrically at 450nm in a microplate reader. The intensity of the color is inversely proportional to the ACR concentration since ACR from samples and ACR-HRP conjugate compete for the anti-ACR antibody binding site. Since the number of sites is limited, as more sites are occupied by ACR from the sample, fewer sites are left to bind ACR-HRP conjugate. A standard curve is plotted relating the intensity of the color (O.D.) to the concentration of standards. The ACR concentration in each sample is interpolated from this standard curve.

Samples: Serum, plasma, Cell Culture Supernatants, body fluid and tissue homogenate
Assay Type: Competitive
Detection Range: 0.5-10ng/mL
Sensitivity: 0.1ng/mL. Human Acrosin (ACR) ELISA Kit or ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays) Kits in general, are a valuable research tool for a myriad of applications in a range of scientific settings. Currently, three major types of ELISA formats are used by researchers: sandwich, competitive and indirect. Most commercially available ELISA Kits are sandwich or competitive. Commercially available ELISA Kits contain wells that have been pre-coated with the capture antibody. Please refer to the product manual for the ELISA format of your specific kit. ACR also interacts with the following gene(s): PELO, SPAM1, ZP3. Brain Diseases, Cardiovascular Diseases, Hypertension, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Necrosis, Nephritis, Nervous System Diseases, Pain, Urologic Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to Human Acrosin (ACR) ELISA Kit.
